Supply Chain Thinking Workshop How to achieve successful environmental outcomes in your supply chain

This half-day workshop will take attendees through a facilitated discussion designed to stretch our thinking on how we can get improved environmental and financial outcomes from our supply chains. It will explain the EcoStation concept and how to move into the next phase of broader emissions savings from along the supply chain.

Our guest speaker and facilitator is Paul Tebo, a leading practitioners and global thought leader in sustainable growth with 35 years of DuPont experience in research, engineering, global business and corporate EH&S.

LMG briefing - Tuesday 1st December, 11am to 1pm at VTA

The Logistics Managers Group (LMG) at the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) will hold its final briefing meeting on Tuesday 1st December from 11am to 1pm at the VTA, Wirraway Drive in Fishermans Bend

The agenda includes:
1. EcoStation - saving, fuel, saving money, saving the environment
A briefing on this significant project and its opportunity to lower distribution costs as well as lower your emissions. Hear from LMG members involved as foundation partners

2. Logistics costs for 2010 and beyond
What is the potential impact of the Henry Tax Review and the CPRS on logistics costs? What should companies do to either insulate themselves or benefit from these potential changes

3. Port pricing and Environmental Freight Zones - has Melbourne got it right?
The State Government's recent proposal will either add cost or solve a problem or both. Come and hear the proposal and add your views as to its merits

We will put on a sandwich lunch at 1pm to all those with a little extra time to discuss this meeting and network with attendees
